DIY servicing observations 2012 V60 1.6 diesel
Having gone back to doing my own servicing I am enjoying getting down and dirty and not paying dealer prices. I record all I do and follow the recommended service schedules and keep all receipts.
I have just spent a considerable amount of time upside down changing the cabin pollen filter. Many thanks to Volvo or Ford for the lumbar workout. Other than that the rest are pretty straightforwards.I have had the car for 18 months and this is the first time I've changed the filter .Presuming the dealer selling the car did change it as stated it was incredibly manky. One benefit from this is that my aircon blows much more cooled air. it's like its supercharged. All i need to do now is to find a way of keeping the car seats clean so if any member has any useful tips please let me know. |

Good job! Most things are fairly straight forward apart from that
I agree the cabin pollen filters are not best positioned, this was my V70 filter just changed, the previous owner obviously just rammed it in there with their eyes shut.....
