My T5 vibrated horribly when i first fitted the poly gearbox mounts. i managed 1 week, then removed them, regreased and refitted. i noted they were not seated correctly. Since refitting then they have been fine.
worth refitting and regreasing?

Hi stu
I have only changed the top poly mount on my D5
The D5 vibrates to much for a polybush,
It is fully greased, the bottom gear torque mount is STD and was new 8 months ago and it is still good,
Dave

i fitted those to the underside of the top mount strutbush. they do not remove the flexing completely, but has reduced it by around 50% (that was before i fitted the top mount bush). its not completely solid, and a good push/pull will show a couple of mm of movement back/forth.
i read that some people add big steel washers to the top of the strut mounts - i'm reluctant to do that in case it makes it too rigid. if i had done the top mounts and gearbox mounts first, i probably wouldn't have spent £30 on the on those.
the others made more of a difference than the strut brace tensioning kit.
they removed all the flexing on mine, my engine is solid

Yes only with the top polybush fitted
Diesel's do vibrate a lot, the damper can not remove it with the top polybush installed,
I will try and sell the poly mount, it was worth a try,
Dave
