V90 front struts needed please
Hi Guys Ive been trying to source two new struts for my 97 2.9 estate. every site I order from (Automekaniks, yakarouler, eurocarparts etc lists the item and I order, only to receive a message days later saying that they are not able to supply. So frustrating. They are available in the USA but the sites I found will not deliver outside USA. Can anybody help me to source these struts please.
Volvo owner since 1985 245, 745glt, 945se, 850glt now V90 since 1997. Its only done 180000 miles never let me down. thanks for your time Dave Buttwell |

Is a pair of these what you're looking for Dave?
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/vol...-monroe-271911 I've used FCP several times before and they ship to the UK without any problem. Check their prices on bonnet and tailgate/boot struts, they were very competitive on mine and delivered quicker than a UK seller! Couldn't find the bonnet struts for mine in the UK (think the same ones as on yours) but found tailgate struts. Ordered tailgate struts from the UK, took 10 days to get here, got bonnet struts from FCP and they took 5 days including a weekend. Only reason i mention the bonnet/tailgate struts is to show that firstly they do ship to the UK and secondly, they will combine shipping so if there are a few other bits you need, you could end up paying a lot less for everything than buying a bit here, a bit there etc. That was the mistake i made - if i'd taken advantage of their prices, i would probably have got the bonnet and tailgate struts together for a lot less than i paid for buying them separately!

Thanks Dave, just looked at the site and they are what I want. Shipping is a bit more than I expected, so I will hang on for a week or so to see whether our members come up with anything. I will let you know the outcome.

After trawling through all the usual suspects in terms of suppliers, i've finally found one that actually lists front shocks for yours :
http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/fron...5_g900001.html Just under £65 each but...................... they're out of stock! Same Monroe shocks as FCP are listing so i suppose it's down to availability.
