The classis estate is not a high pressure Turbo. You need a turbo model to get the HPT, ahowever its only the wastegate actuator thats different (and you get a turbo gauge and a chassis brace).

Idle problems are rarely the idle control valve. If the engine can't idle with valve closed (squeeze the pipe closed with your fingers) there is something else wrong.

Well, as far as I know its the HPT has the turbo gauge and thats what it says on the owners handbook- 170BHP model.

Strange, my sister had one of these of that year. The owners manual covers several models.

Does the engine say B230FT on it?

Moomin is a 940 Classic as badged, 230FT engine. 1995.

230FK is low pressure, FT high pressure, both are the same but one runs a lower boost, its easily undone with a manual controller and a guage to 10psi or above.
