740GL estate for spares
Ownership of the land where I have been able to keep my spares-cars has now changed so they have to go - typical!
I bought this late (G-reg) face-lift auto estate for its immaculate interior to replace that in my car, otherwise the car is more or less complete except towbar. The engine was OK but a bit lumpy so I started to overhaul the injection system, although my car has a carb so not needed. Apart from a small dent on a front wing the car has a very good body, but won't go on the road again. Even comes with several gallons of fuel.... I have pics but can't post here: any interest as if not it will be carted away. Take your winch-equipped lorry to Lancing for a good source of parts - just a windscreen will set you back well over £100. See the Volvo 140/164 section for the other car. Paul |

Sorry only back today from my sons computer-free zone. The car is silver and I have a couple of pics but can't paste here. I've had offers of £175 just for scrap due higher prices now, but that would be one less available for spares, so....
