Default heater matrix

Need to change the heater matrix on my 960 with aircon. Anybody now the correct part number(s) for it. Can't find it on VIDAS. Thanks.

Default ffs!!

Well the write up on the club page links to a FAQ which says nothing about RHD cars and mentions the part number for LHD cars without aircon (1308374).
I'm pretty sure ALL 960's had aircon. Mine is a base spec one with manual seats no cruise control or sunroof and that has aircon!

Try http://www.gcp.se/en/catalogues/mode...60-s90-v90-en/
and see if relevant details are there.

Hi,

Read through this: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=61090

Should be a part listed in there.

I hope you enjoy getting your hands into tight spaces as those small bolts on the air box that contains the heater matrix are a pain to get to, especially getting them back in.

I went a whole winter without mine on my 940 as I kept putting it off (had it bypassed in the engine bay), never again.

The replacement I had for my air con 940 was slightly different and didn't have the space for one of the metal retaining brackets, it was fine and very secure with only one bracket.

If still not fixed up: I got mine from Foursome Vehicle Heaters Ltd in Redditch. £73n plus postage. Their part number 20528
Good luck with the job- it is tricky and time consuming but can be done.

It's a full dash out job on the 960 . I bought one off ebay from the link supplied.
