Default B5234T Engine and Turbo

Complete engine and turbo that i had swapped over into my 855 AWD project. Engine came from a 1998 Volvo V70R 250bhp car (Have VIN plate in folder somewhere) that had 126k miles.

It has about 141.000 miles total on the block - including the 14,5k i put up on the engine once fitted to my car project and prior to tensioner causing the timing to slip by 5 teeth.

Turbo is from an 850R - but no identification badge on it.

Rear exhaust valves need replacing as timing slipped due to tensioner failing.

Head was checked prior to refitting with new gasket and head bolts.

Sourced a replacement engine so no longer required.

Bottom end is fine, no splits in cylinders and no damage to head.

Engine started fine following engine rebuild, however lost compression again due to the exhaust valves.

Complete engine available but not splitting as really not interested in doing that as easier to sell as one piece.

Comes with recently replaced oil pump, water pump and timing belt kit (14,523 miles run on the components - all of which are genuine Volvo parts) - have receipts for those.

NON-VVT Engine still in car but will remove if enough interest.

Would be a good spare parts or rebuild project.
