I'm interested, my HU-850 (like almost all, I'm afraid) lost all the backlights at once, if just soldering a cable resolves it I would be delighted and grateful

remote
I think thats probably and IR receiver, similar to the variety you find on tv's no idea what its used for and i suspect 0.001% of owners use it, could it be an alternative way to control the audio controls on the HU ? if so someone lost the remote 😃

it seems that replacing the entire radio just because of non working backlights doesn't make much sense. Backlights on the new (used) radio may go off soon too, it's just a matter of time. Besides ,paying for the whole radio just because few cheap bulbs were burned, is pointless too.
the only solution is to replace (solder) new bulbs or just forget about it? |
