What Towbar?
I am about to collect an 05/54 Reg XC90 next week that I wish to put a towbar on but I know nothing about them! I only wish to have a towbar fitted in order to have a bike rack attached to it.
Any recommendations would be very much appreciated. I have been quoted £420 for a Westfalia towbar (inc wiring harness and fitting) which seems a lot when I will never actually tow anything. Think a Thule bike carrier was £110 with lights etc that carries 2 adult bikes. I live in Lincolnshire so if anyone has used a good dealer/fitter please let me know. Ideally I wish to spend as little as possible on the towbar and would be grateful for any help or advice. Thanks. |

Thanks for that. I am ploughing through the many options they have. I have to admit to being confused by towbars and what's needed etc. I may have to bite the bullet and go for the Westfalia one. Thanks again.

thanks for the replies...however, i am now considering seriously a roof mounted system instead...cheaper, more appropriate for our needs, etc...thanks!
