If you can wait, you can get them from Hong Kong, for even less cash.

That's pretty cheap itself, thanks for the links

No problem, mate.

I would suggest buying a few sets, as some of them don't last as long as the 20,000 - 50,000 hours that are claimed by the sellers.

I replaced quite a few of mine, before I got a really good batch, that have lasted for a good length of time.

The front sidelights have lasted nearly a year and have just been replaced last month, but the earlier LED's seemed problematic. They were a different type, so there may not be such an issue.

So do they've a shorter life cycle than normal headlight bulbs Gary?

Your in the wrong section mate. This is for pre 04 S/V40's. You want the C30/S40/V50 section.

Ok so I have read through this whole post and am lost now with all the LED's flying around lol. Would anyone be good enough to list the types needed for internal roof / footwell, sidemarkers / boot etc. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it all though, like kids at Christmas heh

They lost me too, would love to replace the lights currently on the car, the led ones in the photos make the cars look a lot more modern.

Cool

I bought these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1207542525...ht_2927wt_1344

it took a while, (3weeks) but finally they arrived...

I bought 10 of them just in case if some of them does not work or cease to work over time.

This is how it looks with original bulb

and this with LED fitted

and a footwell

Note: I noticed that it doesn't look powerful enough in daylight or in dusk, but it looks awesome in nigh time.

ive got the 10 led version of those in mine, the extra two leds make it nice and bright in dawn/dusk and show Every last spec of dust/dirt when its dark,,

44mm size for the glove box, boot light footwell light on mine.
If anything the Boot (S40) could do with 2 lights when fitted with normal bulbs, but the 1 LED unit, lights All of it up.
