Sat Nav/Phone: Help with no sat nav disc with the car

Hi all

Newbie here

I need some help with XC90 sat nav, just bought a 2004 XC90 for my parents sat nav screen says to insert sat nav disc but no disc in the dvd/cd under the passenger seat.

I have had a look through the forum and can't find the answer i need.

So i need some help on what disc/discs i need to buy and where to buy them from.

No just because of the stupid prices dealers normally supply at, i was hoping there would be a third party person/company that can supply.

There is - just search on the forum for sat nav and you will find the info you seek

Or you could try Googling Volvo xc90 sat nav discs

You need to be sure what sat nav you have though, different models use different discs

Can't remember which year they changed over from old to newer type sat nav but most aftermarket suppliers will tell you which model year their discs will work for.

There are some on this forum who get a bit het up about "pirate" versions of software and may not appear too helpful on the subject of Sat Nav discs but in the end it's your choice
