Default how much should I ask for

5 x VOLVO 7x17 VOLANS Anthracite alloy wheels fitted with pirelli p zero 205/45 ZR 17 tyres. Tread depth 6.5mm - 6mm. All are in mint condition with no scratches. they are off my dads 850 R and he has replaced them with other volvo wheels so they are sitting roun doing nothing now.

New Volans wheels are in excess of £300 each and the P Zeros are about £75 each, so taking that into account I'd say £200 per corner would do it.

PROVIDED that you allow the potential purchaser to remove each tyre to get its condition checked - I've posted before about the "zero value" of second-hand rubber, unless comprehensively checked inside and out.

The cost of removal should be borne by you if the tyre fails or agreed as part of purchase if it passes - it'll be about £10 a corner for removal and rebalancing.

Follow that procedure and you'll sell them this week.

I can't imagine what your dad replaced them with though - the Volans are Volvo's best-looking wheel in my thoroughly biased opinion!
