100,000 Mile service on S40 T4,1998.
Can anyone tell me how much I should expect to pay for my impending 100,000 mile service that is due shortly either at Volvo`s [HA HA] or an independent workshop.
Also what should be done for that price,i.e sparkplugs, new brake & clutch fluid,AC re-charge, etc.I have only had the car for 10 months & I am not sure whether it has been looked after properley as the last two services were done by a local garage with not too good a name. Any advice,Dave. |

RE: 100,000 Mile service on S40 T4,1998.
About £80-140 at an independent or there abouts I'd say....maybe double at a dealer.
If the correct service intervals have been followed, then this is really just an oil change and once over. Spark plugs and air filter are done every 40K, cambelt should have been done no later than at the 80K, and the fuel filter at 70K. Brake fluid and coolant change are supposed to be done every 2 years. Not sure about the AC, but if it has never had any attention, then it's probably wise to get it looked at. Colin. |
