V40: - Driver Side Rear door problem

Hello All,

I was looking for some advise on a problem i am having.

Vehicle
V40 R design D3 2013

Last week for no apparent reason i noticed that i could not open the driver side rear door from both inside and outside of the vehicle. The handles feel much looser than the other working doors... as if they have disconnected from the locking mechanism.

Any idea if this is likely to be a mechanical or electrical issue.. as far as i am aware all other electrics seem to be working without any problems

Any advice on how this can be fixed would be very welcome.
