Default 221 Estate for sale

Probably should have mentioned this earlier but I've put one of my estates up for auction on Ebay - it finishes on Sunday evening. I bought the car 18 months ago from the widow of the chap who'd had it since the mid- seventies. The car needed quite a lot of welding for the MOT, which I've had done professionally. The next stage, if I wasn't in the middle of rebuilding another estate, would be to deal with the shiny bits - the rear wheel arches need replacing, the front passenger door has a frilly rear bottom edge and the upper tailgate is nae well. The paint colour is Volvo 213 mid-blue (240 from 1974) and has faded quite badly.
The interior is reasonably good: the dash-top has no splits, the seats are generally good, I've put in carpets from my scrap estate.
The car is twin carb, non-overdrive (my scrap estate would provide an overdrive box and ancillaries: prop-shaft, speedo cable, cowl and switch, etc, by separate negotiation.
Mechanically the car is good apart from a slipping clutch. I recently had both rear support arms and bushes replaced with beefed up versions from Amazon Cars. I've been using the car daily over the summer and am selling it because I've bought a 4x4 (Austin Gipsy) for the winter (It had better snow!)
If you have any questions please call me (James) on 07920 422 120.

The attached photos don't do the car much justice! It's actually not too bad. The rear quarters have been welded behind and the exterior panels are solid underneath that flaking paint.
