Wanted 940 2.3 Turbo Engine Running Gear / Complete Car

Without going into the ins and outs of 'why' (lets just say someone has run off with all my spares and a LOT of money from my drag car project) Im looking for a very cheap way of getting my car up and running.

Ive already annoyed the purists by putting a chevy into a mopar...so thought why not a volvo into a mopar, then use it as a test bed for development etc whilst learning a bit about these engines and then eventually go for a full on 16v conversion etc etc

So....as my car is literally a shell at the minute (due to the above) im looking for a 2.3 turbo red blocked car (with the stronger 13mm rods). Im going to need everything related to the engine/box/wiring/pump/ecu/clocks etc etc....but dont need anything else (interior, wheels, suspension, lights)

If you know of a car as close to South Beds, please let me know, I could well be interested. I have hard standing available so if you have a car that you want to sell but want to keep the bits I dont want, Ive no problems helping strip it at mine, then disposing of the shell for you.

If you can find a pre-1984 B23E or ET that has the luxury of a much stronger bottom end ...Forged crankshaft etc ...

And there was me thinking I had finally got to the bottom of the engine classifications / models!!

What model would I find one of these in...as that sounds like a better bet, I WILL be leaning on this, so looking for cheap but strong :-)
