Default Parking/side light bulb?

Hi all. New member and new owner of a 2009 XC60 2.4 D5 Automatic.

Really enjoying the car, it pulls lovely, if a little thirsty!

(Note: Not my car..!)

I've noticed that my parking/side light seems to be dead. Am I right in thinking these are the bulbs I need?

Yes. It's just a standard W5W or 501 bulb. Search for those names and you'll find much better deals than that. e.g.

Those little bulbs get quite hot so I guess they draw a fair bit of current, I replaced them with orange LEDs. YOu can get those from Amazon or eBay. They are brighter than the bulbs so it's a case of your personal taste.

Thanks mate. I may just do that. Heading down the shop shortly. Are the headlamps already LED?

XC60s of that age either used Halogen or HID bulbs, not LED; if you look at your headlamp unit and can see a thick lens, then it's an HID; the image posted above shows a halogen set-up with the reflector.
