v50 or not to v50.... - Page 2

Don't get me wrong, I love my xc70 but its more space than I need now.
I drive on dartmoor most of the time so the car doesn't get hammered at all, but I can only get 33 mpg tops, plus I find types are limited to about 12k

On a 54 plate and 73 k miles its not exactly old but while its still worth a bit and I'm in a position to, I thought a newer smaller cheaper to run car was in order!

From what I read above it does seem that the v50 would be a good decision!

Has to be a D5. 2.0d great car. D5 is Unreal. Think the tax is the same, no?

S40/V50

I've had no problems with my S40 ... stock handling is a bit 'anodyne' but can be upgraded easily.

Very good fundamentals in the chassis and satisfying to drive! what more can you say ?
