Well I went back for another look at the XC90 today, spoke to a different salesman and this time he would do a deal. They have all the facilities there to do the cam belt so they are going to do it at cost price using genuine Volvo parts so I'm happy with that. Plus a few other little bits and pieces that need doing (including replacement of a missing fog light which is a bit odd!) and machine polish the car, although I was actually very impressed with the paintwork anyway.

So fingers crossed next weekend I should be picking up my new to me 2008 XC90 Executive, very excited to be travelling around in a new level of luxury!

Front or rear fog lamp?

Front has 2.
Rear has only one, on the driver's side. The other side is a reflector.

It's the front passenger side that's missing. Looks like it's taken a bit of a wack to the corner as the bumper and front skid plate were not connected properly. Cosmetically it looked ok but must be a bracket broken somewhere and the fog light must have been damaged but not replaced for some reason. The dealer is going to sort it out so I'm not that concerned but it was just a bit odd that the bumper had been repaired without the fog light being replaced
