Hi Everyone! I have a question regarding my 2004 S40 1.9L Turbo (B4204T4). I am trying to remove the cylinder head, and the only thing hanging me up right now is the exhaust manifold. I can't get it out of the way. I've removed the nuts off the studs (8 of them), but I can't push the manifold back away far enough to clear the studs sticking out of the head.
Is it required to unbolt the manifold from the Turbo (or CAT) in order to remove the head? I've removed a head from an 850 (with turbo) a long time ago, and i don't remember having that problem with that car? Just wondering if anyone here has done that on an S40 with a turbo and any help you can provide... I really appreciate it.
Thank You!
