Default How do you fix the Heico badge to your grille?

Well, my Heico badge has finally arrived from Germany. I am wanting to put it onto my new black mesh grille. The badge has 2 long screw threads to the rear. How do I secure it....do I have to cut the long screw threads down?

When I bought mine, it came with a plastic block spacer.

If thats not there then cut screws down.

Yeah, no spacers. I thought I may have to cut them down. Just didn't want to rush into it, as they say, you can always cut some off but you cant add it on

cheers guys

I will, I'l do a before & after.

Only prob is, I am gonna set this up so it's ready to go onto my car & wife said if she don't like it she wants the S40 grille instead. I know where to get one for £50 delivered. I am gonna be setting this grille up tomorrow so watch this space

50 quid!!?? that's a good price....I simply couldn't find one when I was looking...

I still have the mesh grille in the garage which I never got around to sending back, I also like the painted grille which was posted on here and still hopefully have an S40 grille coming in the near future so I am watching all these grille modifications with great interest!

You never know I might actually decide which way to go at some point!

I'm now waiting with baited breath!!....

So this is how the badge came, way too long screw threads & no spacers

so I had to cut them down

Now I have got to wait till the wife comes back with my car after work.
