I generally use my Trade Card for their professional range of tools,Halfords no quibble replacement policy is second to none and the quality of their tools is bloody good. I have also got my car batteries from them. Huge discount and again no quibble should replacement be required within the guarantee period

I use to have a halfords trade card, but only used it a couple of times as most parts were still cheaper online.

There is Bosch and there is Bosch , not sure which is the actual bosch standard , volvo bosch or halfords bosch .
Going back a few years when volvo used bosch blades they would last about 4 years or 50000 miles , but bosch from halfords is a lower quality , last barely a season ...

I've put genuine Volvo wiper blades on both of mine - and honestly can't say I'm noticing any great improvement on Bosch bought from Halfords... sorry!

really?? for the past 4 years i've used genuine Volvo ones, and found the rubber a tad softer, so it glides over the glass rather than be dragged. They perform better in the wet, no streaks, squeaks and i've only changed them once per car in that time, so they have lasted a lot longer than any others i've used in the past.

agree with you on that Clan. I always used to use Bosch from Halfords before i got my XC90 4 years back, and found i used to change them every couple of years. But in the 4 years i've been running my XC90 and S60, i've only changed them once - bit more expensive - from memory with discount i paid £25 for the fronts from local dealer, but a better performance - in my opinion.

I wouldn't be without mine, it has saved me a small fortune over the years I've had it. Have you got a link to what they're changing? would be interesting to read
