S40: Insurance details for 2002 S40T? Confused!

Hi all Raising this issue that has me puzzled for over 20 years. Purchased car secondhand as S40T MY03 advertised in 2004. Pre inspection provided: 1. Manufacturing date: 2000 2. Compliance plate 11/02 3. Vin: 10th digit is a 3 Ring Volvo they say we class it for fixing as MY03. Go to insurance website put it rego: says 2001 S40T SE???? Redbook says that anything with compliance plate not Dec 02 onwards is classed MY01? My car has most of the MY03 features(no electric seats or heated seats) I have insured it as S40T 2002 MY01 as only option under DecMY03. Any feedback appreciated.
