Default indicator stalk - v70 2005

think my stalk is goosed
wont flash or turn on main beams no "click" in the stalk so presume its buggered

actually no, now the battery is disconnected i may give it a whirl this weekend

thing is its the weather is crap at the moment so daylight is very poor so will wait till weekend when i have more time

worth giving it a shot

local volvo dealer wanted 110 plus vat to plug in vida!

Best done on a clean bench or at the kitchen table. After you have cleaned the circuit board tracks give the little brass contacts a gentle 2 or 3mm nudge upwards with a miniature screwdriver so they are making better contact with the tracks.

Take a before and after picture for reference...just in case something goes ping

You're welcome, MinnieNuss, but all I did was to post the YT link. The credit goes to DIY How To and Reviews for taking the time and trouble to make and post up the video!

Hopefully you will both be able to easily sort the issue, get your lights/indicators functioning again and spend that hard earned on something more meaningful.

i havent taken mine out yet..

indicators work fine so will wait till the next clear day as at the moment its horrid here and i dont want to start messing in the dark

i saw somewhere that there is a beam relay on the cem, could this fail?
