Default V50 SE Lux Rear Number plate Chrome trim

I am in two minds if I should Purchae & fit the chrome Rear number plate / slash grab handle trim from the SE Lux model & fit it to my Sliver V50 R-Design SE Sport.

Below are pics with the trim & without the trim.

What do you think?

I think with chrome trim is better.

P.S. Your V50 is seriously spec'ed up (RTI, Dynaudio, Sunroof, etc) did you buy it new?

I am seriously toying with the chrome trim just want to get a feel of what people think, if the response is good i will get it done if it's negative then it's probably a bad idea.

I have to admit I did not buy the car new, but I hunted around for the right car for a very long time a D5 Manual in R-Design SE Sport trim is hard enough to find, but I really wanted, the right colour Bright Blue, Black or Silver, with a Sunroof, Sat Nav, rear park Assist, Xeonx's, & the Family pack, the rest were all just a bonus & very nice too.

Silver would not have been my first choice but I was not spending £33,000 on new one to get this spec.

Personally I think it looks better without - too much chrome happening with the badges.

I think it will look better with the trim and looks really good on a silver car. Is this something you can fit on your own or does it have to be fitted by a dealer?

I think it would be a self-adhesive strip James - simple DIY job
