Can you identify this booster / brake servo
Could someone please identify this brake booster.
Thanks. Its off a 1972 144 K reg. There's a air leak on the rubber seal at the front. Thanks |

I have heard of this problem before, but for the life of me can't remember the cure except locate another seal. It may have been the former Volvo 140 series registrar some years ago, but I don't remember the specific cure. However, perhaps they are included in servo overhaul kits sometimes available on ebay.

Simply pull the white valve from the rubber seal , then remove the seal from the servo body . If i remember correctly i used a Ford escort one way valve seal for the same job as it was the same size . I am fairly certain that this seal was a standard size on cars from 70's & 80's models across manufacturers
