Right, going well! Got all the leather in, door cards switched over etc etc interior looking real sweet! Front seats are a little rickety, but I can sort that out soon enough. Took a whole day!

As the alloy wheels only had decent tyres on the back, I wanted to stick them on the front of mine, then swap my rear tyres for the other alloys. I put the rear alloy wheels from the new, on to the front of mine. This caused many problems with my handling! Steering became REAL light (I would've thought so ..steel / alloy), but also whenever I floored it, the car would veer to the right! And then when I came off acceleration, it veered back to the left...Don't know why this has happened.
Switched the wheels back, and all is back to normal.

Is it because there is alloy on front, and steel on back? The tread on the alloys were good. Going to sort out decent tyre for all alloys this weekend, and put them all on.

sounds like you've got torquesteer going on. would have thought you would feel it normally though, not just with new wheels

incidentally, you should always put better tyres on the rear of a car, otherwise it will make the car prone to oversteering, which you definatly dont want with a fwd car.

I'm going to take it in to the garage this weekend anyways, and get the tyre's sorted out.

i am. but i'm also at work, bored.

might be able to pick the bits and bobs up on sunday the 23rd (if thats a sunday - something round then anyways), if that suits you. do the seats you're not using have the hight adjust thinger on them? if so might be willing to buy them off you (a bit of mesuring aside..)

yer car will be fine to drive, just might handle a little 'oddly' on the edge, so be careful :)

Nope, its a wednesday! I've acutally got a mate whos coming round this weekend to see if there is anything he wants. I am keeping that headlight for you though. Will get some pictures of seats and stuff, I think they have height adjustment.

I am being carefull, going to get the garage to suss out the problem, if I can fix it myself sorted, if not, well i'll have to be carefull for at least another month!

I'll get pictures up soon
