Hi there, welcome to the forum.

The engines usually go by their size rather than the model they're fitted to; so B18 or B20 for 1.8L and 2.0L displacement and then A, B, C, D for state of tune. The B18/B20 was fitted to the Amazon, 140 and P1800 (possibly PV544) models from 1962 to 1968. B20 from 1968 to 1970 possibly longer in the 140s.

B18A / B18B is 1.8L single or twin carb respectively (with diffreing cam shafts to match). B18D is also twin carb but lower state of tune. B18C was (I think) a marine or tractor engine.

Here's a wikipedia page.

Kind regards
Lucien
