Have noticed Spotify is playing up since the upgrade.

Often I listen to Spotify if I am by myself, so that is what starts next time I get in the car. However, more often than not since the last update, I find it sort of locks when starting.

It goes to the tune/playlist/... I was listening to but simply will not play it. The controls work, so pressing Pause/Play changes the icon, but still no sound. Changing tracks or even playlist has the same lack of results. And yes, I did check the volume

Only way I can appear to get it working again is to select another source (DAB/FM/USB) for a second, which immediately starts, then back to Spotify. The second time it starts ok - after its customary few seconds/minutes boot up process.

Guess I'll try uninstalling it an reinstalling it to see if that sorts it.

Mine locks up as you describe but works (reasonably) well after selecting a different source then switching back to Spotify. I'm now resigned to it never working properly since if it's not working well after 2+ years it probably never will.

Uninstall, reinstalled this morning. It has behaved itself so far today. 8-10 short journeys so far, and it has started playing each time.
