Looking for 240 Estate
Hi there,
I'm looking to purchase a 240 estate. This will be my third, having not been able to settle on the right car. I have very few conditions, other than I am not willing to take on major or large scale body work, and the car absolutely has to be 1988 or older (Due to Irish classic car taxation laws). This car will be for an eventual engine swap, so a low mileage concours example would not suit. I have a very flexible budget for the right car. I am not fussy re spec, GL, GLT, SE etc. I would ideally like to avoid carb cars due to the complications with engine swapping. I would be interested in speaking to anyone who was willing to sell their already swapped/turbo'd examples, although I understand the amount of money, blood, sweat and tears may have to be compensated for. Regards, Dave |

Hi I have a 1988 'F' 245 GLT in Dark Metallic Blue with tan/beige interior. 183,000 miles with almost complete service history. I am just in the throws of putting it through MOT. The body is in good overall condition. The bonnet has a scratch front leading edge 9approx 1.5 inches, a scratch rear upper nearside quarter panel approx. 10 inches long.
The interior is in fair condition only the drivers seat has wear on the vertical bolster. I will be getting the car professionally valeted before sale. My anticipated time scale for completion is approx. 3 weeks. My name is Clive my mob 07399 019644 please feel free to call me for any info or questions you may have . Thanks |
