Default Chrome?? Window trims

Just traded in my xc90 for a V60, very pleased so far, however just noticed discolouration of all chrome type window mouldings, is this a common fault, as my vehicle is only 18 months old would these be replaced under volvo warranty, has anyone had similar experience, look forward to comments and advice.

We also have a slight dis-colouration and blobs on our chrome look window trims.
How do we contact volvo customer relations?

I'd be interested in the outcome of this as mine are the same.

Having a Polestar optimisation done on 23rd, they are going to look at the window trim then, will let you know the outcome.

Had the Polestar upgrade yesterday at Paul Rigby, and they looked at the window trims, they had the valet polish them with some terrific stuff, as it bought them up as good as new, they even applied a coat of wax.

There have been a few recent cases and it has been down to some bad practice at drive in car washes. The wheel cleaner may have got onto the trim and not rinsed off quick enough and etched into the top trim layer. I must admit to using them and sometimes you are in the queue for a while, and in some strong sunshine.
