Boot lock button not working
I had the battery disconnected today and accidentally shut the boot lid. Got into it again using the key but after connecting the battery back up again my boot button no longer works. I can open the boot using the fob but pressing the button on the boot lid does nothing.
I'm a bit suspicious at it deciding to stop working after I disconnect the battery and am wondering if I am missing the bleedin obvious! Has anyone got any ideas as to where I should start looking?

Weirdly it started working again today. No idea what happened there. Although it obviously did not like the battery being disconnected. Very strange.

This seems to be a common occurance with S60's. It has happened to four that I know of, with the common denominator being battery disconnection. Stored fault codes tend to relate to rear doors, without any references to the boot lid. On each occasion the fault has corrected itself after a short period of time.

When the battery is disconnected the car thinks it's locked when you connect it again, simply locking or unlocking with the remote or pressing the unlock button on the door sorts it.
