Default Anyone removed MAP sensor in-situ?

I want to clean my MAP sensor, the one that sits in the delivery side of the intercooler (163hp D5 S60). It is secured with a torx screw located right next to the headlight. The problem is I haven't got room to get the torx bit into the screw.

When I replaced the intercooler a couple of years ago I swapped the MAP over on the bench before fitting. In hindsight I should have replaced the torx with a hex screw and I could have got a spanner on it.

Anyone got any ideas?

On my '53 d5 the sensor is just pushed in. There aren't any screws holding it. Which means mines probably broken. I'll have another look.

I removed & replaced mine in situ using a ratchet driver with a flexi extension and mag bit - bit tricky but do-able. (MY2004 V70 Eu3 D5 with IC mouned MAP sensor)

I even tried cutting a mag bit down so there was just enough left to get a small open ended spanner on it but still didn't have enough room to get the bit into the head of the screw.
I wonder if the after market intercooler is different to the original in some way.

Why not use diagnostics to check the MAP sensor function?
If it's working correctly, leave it be.
