Default phone holder: hidden wires

Hey,

So I currently have a phone holder, which looks a bit like this - it fits onto the air vent.

I would like to swap this for a wireless charging holder, but want to hide the wiring as much as possible.

Has anyone done this? And care to share some pics and an explanation of how the wiring was done?

I have a dashcam on the passenger side, as close to the top of the windscreen as possible. The wiring for this runs inside the trim of the A pillar, behind the dash to the passenger footwell, where there is a cigarette style socket extension cable - so in terms of powering the phone holder, could I tap this power source somehow? I'll post pics if helpful.

Thanks in advance.

You can go here for an example

https://accessories.volvocars.com/en...20(-17)%202015

If you click the services tab at the top left, then installation instructions, you get a long list of accessories. Just choose something from the same area of the car and you get to see best routing for cables, trim removal, etc.

I used a Brodit Proclip for mine. There are many different options like where to mount it etc.
