  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

New fault code read tho' showing 'camshaft sensor'. Could a numpty like me sort that?

Ah the cam sensor code - Tricky bast*rd that one.

What's your exact code?

Mine goes in to limp mode sometimes and refuses to boost above 0.5bar till I restart the car - Always throws this code - ECM-61 - Camshaft reset valve.

Nobody knows! Not the smarties on T5D5, not Volvo.

My next bet is the VVT pully but I refuse to pay a huge amount to get that done unless 100% confirmed, had cambelt done last year too so don't want to have to replace that again.

Alex, tbh I didn't look at the code. My mechanic just said camshaft sensor, I just stood grinning it had passed, lol!!

Engine light came on the other night after giving it some wellie!

It's running fine and starting ok. Might have to pretend I didn't hear him!
