1991 Volvo 440 1.7, manual, petrol, in Oxford

£200 ono.

I can't get photos to upload here at the moment so here is the Gumtree ad with photos.

Tax until 31/1/2010 MOT until 6/12/2010, V5 present.

Very comfortable car with heated seats and a good heater making it perfect for this time of year!

Tyres are all legal, two have recently been replaced part worn premium tyres with lots of tread. Spare wheel and jack/wrench present.

I had the car tested on an exhaust gas analyser a week ago and the emissions were well within the limits for the MOT test for both idle and at 3000rpm. The previous owner had recently fitted a new mid section of the exhaust.

Has speakers and an aerial and wiring with ISO adapters, so nearly any radio head unit will plug and play. Can be supplied fitted with a Kenwood radio for an extra £50.

Free Haynes manual with the car.

I bought it a month ago as a temporary car and immediately fell in love with it. It's a good car, some scratches/marks in the paint but nothing that couldn't be touched out with some tlc. I would love it if the car was bought by an enthusiast rather than ending up as a banger racer or being run round for a month and scraped.

The car is in Oxford, and I can pick up from the train station if necessary.

Looks like it is going to turn into a banger racer... which means all trim/bumpers/lights/interior (except drivers seat) is salvageable. Will offer free collection/delivery at cost on most bits of it, please post here ASAP what you'd like me to save if it does go down the banger racer/scrap route.

Will sell as a complete road car for £130 without tax/£160 with.

Just re-read your ad and noticed a typo?

Gumtree states MOT until 6/12/2009 and you mentioned it should go through an mot ok.

However, the above text states MOT until 6/12/2010 and you've written, " had the car tested on an exhaust gas analyser a week ago and the emissions were well within the limits for the MOT test for both idle and at 3000rpm"

Does that mean you've actually had it re-mot'd or has it only got 21 days MOT left to run?

That might be why there's been no replies as I missed this earlier today myself.
