Default oh hai - new boost gauge!

My new gauge arrived today, im going to fit it after work tomorrow

One question though:

Where my previous gauge had 2 wires. 12v and earth, this has three.

The guide says

Red - Ignition live
White - Battery +
Black - Battery -

Being the div that i am (aha) where are these wires going?!?!

I presume ignition live would be the same place as i have my 12 v for my current gauge, running off the lights which turn on with the ignition.....

But battery + and -? where to they go :O

Default lights

You'll need one for the general power = ignition so it comes on when you turn the ignition; one for the lights so you can see the numbers light up in the dark which you can tie in to the headlights + so they come on at the same time ;and - is normally to ground so wire into some bare metal on the chassis.

What type of gauge is it?
It sounds like it has an electronic pressure sensor as opposed to just requiring a bulb feed.

Nahh its not i figured it out. Because you can change the colour of the dials (ima stay with white though) It needs two feeds, i tested it.

Just one and i couldnt change the colour. but i supplied power to the other wire and then i could

I had one of them. As long as your not bothered about it remembering your colour, then just tie the two 12v's together and connect to your current 12v source.
