What's this and the hole above it for? I know the bottom one is normally blanked off. But interested to see what goes in there.

Also the uploader only seems to be letting me put one picture up at a time.

Any thoughts on the holes in the cylinder head?

Temperature sensors for the fuel injection that head originally had. Scroll down on this link.

You can probably use one of these positions for an electric fan switch. I believe Amazon cars do this.

I missed something. A Jenvey turbo inlet plenum and no turbo or compressor??? No charger?
Why?????
And don't wrap a mild steel header. You will be astonisged about the corrosion it will start to get.

Next steps! :OD
By the time the header rots through it will be time for an upgrade anyway. Additionally it's my header and I will wrap it if I want to :OP.

Like the comment about the 'wrapped header' Quarterless but since you are in Essex shouldn't that be a manifold? ;-) which leads me to a personal feeling about what I think is an unnecessary shift in the UK towards using a lot of American terms instead of our own (no offence to our US members) after all this is a UK forum.
1. An exhaust manifold is not a header.
2. A wing is not a fender.
3. An anti-roll bar is not a sway bar or even an anti-sway bar.
4. Steel wheels are not steelies.
5. An estate is not a wagon.
6. A 2 door saloon is not automatically a coupe.
7. A boot is not a trunk.
8. A bonnet is not a hood.
End of rant hope nobody is too offended by it.

Underdrive, I try to do my best. It's not my natural language. Rhe really stupid thing is: USA and Great Britian are with the same language and totally different words.
"Umwickle den Fächerkrümmer nicht sofern er aus Stahl ist, er wird fürchterlich rosten"

Österreich and Deutschland have the same language, qurh totally different words too ;-)

Additionaly the dialects in every part of the world, it is impossible to do it right
Regards, Kay
P.S. Quraterless: " I wouldn't wrap a exhaust manifold if it's made of mild steel" is this version ok for you?
