Lots like a lot of money - but really is a "find me another" original Turbo 440 in this condition....

Gotta be tempting perhaps?

(Usual - not mine, no connection)

Looks very clean, a little too clean for the millage. I was expecting the maillage to be less than 40,000 not just over 80,000

Hope it goes to the right owner to keep it as clean and tidy as it is

Usual flowery dealer language, I cannot condone time warp to describe a car with 80k on it and the fact it has been in"slumber"for a long time.

Ok we like our Volvo's, but this is surely just grey porridge - or should that be grey Gouda ?

Jon.

Looks stunning. It was a dry stored car since (I believe) 1999. But wouldn't dream of paying that kind of money.

You can find another one next to it on ebay. Cheaper and looks pretty good too. Do all the 440 turbos have the dreaded Disinformation Centre?
I just rescued a 2.0 auto from being scrapped, although I may take it to bits myself to help some eccentric friends who have 2 x 440s on the road plus 2 resting (2.0i and 1.8i manuals plus another 2.0i and a 1.8 carb).

Does look lovely, but very clever lighting in the pictures I feel.

Professional dealer, without a doubt.

The bumpers and plastics look to have been siliconed within an inch of their lives. Also, you wouldn't get me driving anywhere on tyres that old!

Lovely, rare colour though.

Nevertheless, I'll stick with my 460T, which cost me significantly less than that.

Oh, yes I think all the factory Turbos did have the info centre.
When they work, they're great. Not so much when they're playing up though!

Just to put your minds at rest- the guy is a photographer and the car is a collection of disasters- the underbonnet areas are a sea of rust and the tyres would get you a severe fine if the constabulary inspected them. In fact they are down right lethal
the inside is grotty and it is a seaside car suffering with salt spray corrosion- the oil filter is nearly rotten.
How do I know?
I bought it...........
