Default S90 4G Hot Spot (SIM card)

Hi All,

Apologies if answered already but couldn't find via search.

Just got a new S90 which was ordered with WiFi hot spot (via SIM card) but through some confusion looks like the car does not have the function. No SIM card tray in the boot where the control module is.

The dealer is willing to rectify but again confusion with what is required. Anybody know what is required to fit after the fact? Is Sensus Connect enough to add the funtionality?

Yes 100% its not there. Seems like you need to have Volvo On Call for it to be there. At time of ordering they clearly said it would have 4G WiFi sharing via SIM card slot

I dont mind its missing VOC but need find out what can be done add 4G internet sharing now via another method/adding parts

OK , well you can get a device in PC World which will act as a mobile wi-Fi unit, this particular one is 3G but perhaps 4G are available ..
