Default Annoying rattle

Hi guys, I recently had the top suspension mount replaced on my 2003 d5 v70 because it was seized and causing an annoying rattle. It seemed to clear the rattle up for a couple of days, but now its back and just as bad. Is there anything else that's obvious to look at that could be causing it. Thanks.

It could be the shock absorber itself rattling which might explain why it went away after replacing the top mount then quickly came back as things settled down.

It could be connected to worn anti roll bar bushes or more likely the droplink bushes perished; you might also want to check the wishbone bushes have not perished as these too can cause rattles.

If the steering is a little on the vague side checking the front subframe bushes wouldn't go amiss.

ie if you've got a rattle, the chances are it is a rubber bush that is failing within the suspension/steering system.
