Talking Sleeper...........he he he!

I went RAF lakenheath's car show today and there was a mobile dyno there, so I paid my 45 squid and went to get the car...........my wife stayed there and overheard laughter and much joking from the crowd about me wanting to dyno a volvo, in fact after the runs many people came over and said they thought I was joking when it was rolled on but when the results were displayed they were shocked...........241 bhp at the wheels and 293 bhp at the flywheel......

like the rs4 that overtook me but was too much of a pussy to actually race.

I love driving a sleeper..............

I will upload the pic's and scans later

Lovin it,I bet that wiped the smile off their faces, don't you just love it when you see the surprised expression on peoples faces when they suddenly realize that Volvo's are indeed cars to be reckoned with.

your not wrong, it was really funny, it made them think again about volvo's, in fact there was a dude with a american muscle car on before mine who asked me the dyno result and then said that he is going to tune his volvo!

Nice numbers

Sadly I think you might have been a bit overmatched against an RS4 though

Very true, but it would have been fun and maybe he didnt know the road, camera placement etc, so fair play

Can't argue with you there

You underestimate any 850 T5 still on the road at your peril IMO, there are so many nicely modified enthusiast cars out there. Makes me wonder (yet again) why I sold my first 850
