Juddery brakes
Hello
Recently the brakes on my V40 have started to judder, I'd say within the last couple of weeks, I changed the front pads about 5 weeks ago and haven't really noticed anything untill lately....any ideas? It has been suggested to shamfer the leading edge of the new brake pads?? I did restrip the brakes and clean them up and re-grease them last week hoping this would work Cheers in advance Greg |

Did you do anything with the brake disc at all. If its not flush that can cause it. Did it do it before you changed the pads? It could be possible that the brake disc was warped (or DTV if you wish) and the old pads didnt highlight the issue as the new ones have or a possibility there is 'residue' on the brake discs! I think even a seized caliper or fitted incorrectly could also cause this.
