Default MY2020 Map update

hi, as per title, i have a 2020 B5 XC90 and have been advised by the dealer to download the latest map update via USB stick. (update takes too long to reliably use the Vodaphone Psim). However, when i checked on website, the update doesnt mention 2020 as an applicable year - Has anyone downloaded and installed latest update onto a 2020 B5 successfully?

Thanks, Dave.

Thanks for reply, that was were I was looking, but when you check the ‘applicable for’ link, it only lists up to 2019.

Hello there,

I have made 2-3 map updates on my car, since October 24th. All through data sim.
Yes it takes about 30 mins and then it requires to turn off the car in order for them to complete. My sim is 4G, but i dont know the speed of the car model (3G or 4G).

No problems whatsoever.

Maybe the map website refers the 2020 model year as 2019, because the car was sold in 2019. I have seen this before.

Nevertheless, tell us your opinion of the car and your feelings in comparison with your previous ride. That would be interested as well..

All done, no problems. Last drive was a Land Rover Discovery 3....... miss not belonging to the Green Oval, but absolutely love the XC90!
