Evening,

Hopping some of your clever people can help me with this,

2009 185hp, had a message come up saying soot filter blocked and lucky for me while driving the car down the M56 goes in to limp mode, yay cry my kids.

Sarcasm I’m afraid 😟 not only did this clear, but happened again. Luckily I manage to get home after it cleared again.

Then I get the engine system service required, it’s not long had a full service.

A friend has a Angry Jester diagnostic computer so put the beast on for a look see and to carry a purge of the soot filter.
This was a strange one as it aborted with cool down and I checked the level of soot per grams it was on 0.1, but the engine system service required keeled staying on.

After this has been completed I did a recheck after clearing all faults, i now have these codes which I will attach to this if I can. Any help would be appreciatedas I’m lost.

Also it is ver shuddery in gear now.

Cheers 👍🏻🥃🧐

First thing to do is replace the connector terminals on Injector 3 plug,
Part number 30765321 , you will need 2 ,
also if you break the plastic plug this is a new one 30765048

There is a 75% chance this will fix it , If not , replace the injector ...

Thanks for your reply much appreciate. Are they expensive from a dealer or do I look in the obvious places.

Do you understand from those messages what is wrong with my heating?

As for the rear parking sensors I have replaced the whole lot and still it doesn’t work.

Again appreciate the time to reply

You wont get the repair terminals anywhere other than a dealer they come with about 6 inches of wire to solder to the original loom wire .

regarding the heating it needs calibrating , there is an option in VIDA to do that under CCM / ADVANCE perhaps .

The interior air quality sensor has failed , it is under the outside windscreen lower plastic panel located just inside the heater air intake lip ,
the sensor controls the re-circulation flap if it senses pollution , the sensor has a life of 8 to 10 years .

Hi, these parts are not at all expensive so just go to the dealer.

Thanks again for your help and advice,

Had another go at the best tonight and found the resonator rubber split at the turbo end and the exhaust has a crack in it.

Lol now you I buy a proper kit or the conversion pipe?

I’ll pop into a dealer tomorrow as hopefully near one 👍🏻

I put the silicon hose replacement on instead of the resonator.

Been fine for nearly 2 years.

The AQS only controls the auto recirculation function, but when it fails with an internal fault it can inhibit the LIN bus that controls the heating system (and pass seat heaters). Remove it and the system will work normally again (without the auto recirc). Fit a new AQS to get back full functionality.

Hi, I fitted new stainless steel hose clips. Obviously size is to fit nicely over new hose without being too big. Can't remember size now though.
