Running lights
Anyone know how to enable/disable running lights on a 240 ('88)? I know the 850 has a small screw just below the light switch but can't seem to find one on my 240 glt.

RE: Running lights
On my old 88 240GL the day running lights could be disabled by removing fuse No5 which does not seem to feed anything else. Incidentally the relay circuit board that controls the day running lights and dim/dip is on the far left hand bottom corner of the passenger footwell under the carpet below a metal plate. There are several other relays there too.

RE: Running lights
Why would you want to disable a safety feature? All the best, Peter |

RE: Running lights
I'm actually trying to reinstate the running lights as I bought the car with them not on - forgot to mention on first post.

RE: Running lights
In that case, Will, I hope you succeed in your endeavour. I only queried on account of the number of people who think the lights will last longer if they are not used in daylight running. You obviously know just what you are doing. All the best, Peter |
