360 GLT 3dr 88K

Hi,

This is not my car but..

I've been searching for a 360 GLT 3dr mk3 for the past couple of weeks and stumbled on this.

Just spoke to the gentleman who is buying a smart car and trading the car in under the scrappage scheme. Makes perfect financial sense for him but very frustrating for those looking for one and a waste of a great car!

If anyone is thinking of selling a 360 GLT 3 dr, let me know, cash waiting.

Why don't you ask the man where he is part ex-ing it and then contact the place to buy the car. If they won't sell it to you, give me a shout, because I was in the trade and still have a few contacts. Maybe this car can be saved and you could own it. I want to help if I can and am not looking to make any sort of money on the car and if you are not successfull and I have to buy the car for you, I could send you as my agent to collect it, which would mean that you could just in effect buy the car.

That's a real shame... 3 door GLT's are extremely rare nowdays

I think by law it has to be scrapped and cannot legally go back on the road.

I don't know for sure but worth a try. I will give him a call and pm you.

Anyone got a crapper car they can scrap instead for the seller?

You need to have owned the scrap vehicle for more than a year.

I'm not sure he'll wait a year for his new smart car, I hope he knows the auto boxes in them are awful!
