Massive thanks dave for giving up most of your day and sorting out the car.
Faultless on the way home , no limp mode and pulling like a train.

I know the guy i normally go to is decent but he obviously hadn't checked everything.

Been a long long day 530am to 910pm ,but we had some laughs and you got me there in the end👍

Dave , youre a gentleman and a star.

Thanks again and enjoy the beer , you deserve it.

👏👏👏

Hi Thanks, That is brilliant news,
good you got home with no limp home mode,

Yes having some cans now,
When you had a bad injector , was the oil change after you fitted the good injector ?
Thanks Dave

I would change it again as it does smell very bad and fuel smelling, it has been running rich for a long time as there has not been any boost for a long time,
I hope the egr valve will clear it self,
get a plug in obd2 Bluetooth reader that works with your phone
so you can read the boost,
Dave

The bottom pipe on the turbo not secure , the solenoid to actuator pipe not connected at the turbo .

I do think that buying a new vac pump helped , the second hand one was faulty.

Also the popping noise has disappeared, which is a given.

Best advice would be , see what vac you get at the pump and trace the pipes all the way to the turbo and out the other side.

Pull them individually see if they hold vac.

Obviously a smoke tester helps 😁

Well done davebb.

Good show technically for sorting the problem and good show for actually doing it for another forum member.
