Egg crate grille paint code/colour? - Page 2

The rear isn't faded. I guess a satin black should be close, but I might test some slightly lighter shades.

Here is mine that I refurbished. sanded first then primer and Halfords satin black

I wish I could get hold of one to paint! Always seem to miss out on ones for sale.

Satin black will look wrong....it is more of a light metallic grey but left satin finish with no laquer...
i couldn't tell you a paint code but i would just take the grille to the shop and match it there,,,

The ones on late 940s are definitely a dark metallic grey. The photos are closeups of the grill on my 1998 Celebration which has only 36k miles on the clock and spends most of its time under a cover in the garage. I’m pretty sure it’s not had much opportunity to fade.
