New old stock num. plate lamps
New old stock volvo num. plate lamp lenses that I'm led to believe are for a 300 series (part no. 3269813-6). £20 posted for the pair or open to offers.
I have a raft of N.O.S parts for various models so if you are needing parts for a couple of volvo's, please get in touch and i may be able to help |

Only from 1984 models , before that they looked like that above , pressed into the back bumper . It would help if we could see a view from the top . They are also fitted to other cars from the 1976 to 1985 era such as Volkswagens .

There are quite a few of these listed on E-Bay . Which does show pictures . They say the lamps are suitable for 300 cars after 1985 up to 1998 + which is incorrect because the later cars have them built into the tail lights . The latest volvo part number was 3281027 However what i think has Happened is that volvo ran out of the original HELLA stock of these and got them made elsewhere ( they look different to the original Hella type ) , hence your different part number . There must have been excess stock which found its way to the traders . It is very unlikely there are any early 1976 - 1984 300 cars left now which need these but the VW market might .

I'm fairly sure the style of unit pictured above wasn't in use in MY82.
It does look like what hid under the "toberlerone" on DAF and Volvo 66s. I'd say it'd be fairly early 343 style. I could look outside, but it's dark and wet. |

That style certainly was not used on the 343 1976 - 84 so maybe you are right that is was Volvo 66 ...

3271864 is used up to ch. -545499 (MY80) - bumper bar with end caps, single lamp
DSCF4155.JPG by macplaxton, on Flickr (Hella 22807R4) 3281027 is used from ch. 545500- (MY81) to ch. 120999 (MY85) - those with wraparound plastic bumpers, two lamps IMG_20151227_035907_992 by macplaxton, on Flickr From ch. 121000- (MY86) number plate lighting is from side of main taillamp unit. 3269813 (Hella 22805R4) would appear to be Volvo 66 (don't have a parts book handy, but they aren't in the 300 ones), they will fit a some B-bodied DAFs too with the plastic "VARIOMATIC" cover that clips over the pair of them. DAF 66s had metal bodied ones (DAF 115875, Volvo 3100267?, but it doesn't matter what they are if they are undercover as long as they fit in the bumper holes.)
